The main office of the Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment is the home base for the combined administrative leadership team of the Center, UMass Extension and the Mass. Agricultural Experiment Station.
Other On-Campus Center Offices
Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment and Extension staff are located in offices on the UMass Amherst campus. Three offices in and around the UMass Amherst campus are open to the public: the Plant Diagnostics Laboratory, the Soil and Plant Tissue Testing Laboratory and the Western Regional 4-H Center.
Extension Field Offices
There are thirteen Extension field offices in Massachusetts, located in each region of the state. Many of these are devoted to an individual program, such as the Extension Nutrition Education Program or the 4-H Youth Development Program.
Farms and Facilities
The Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment manages facilities for research and learning (both for-credit and non-credit) in Belchertown, East Wareham, Hadley, and South Deerfield.
