Community service is an important part of 4-H club work. All 4-H clubs are encouraged to collect items to benefit their local communities through the "Four Seasons of Giving" project. Each group can choose to participte in one, two, three or all four seasons. Incentives are given to clubs that participate and report on their participation.
Pictured is the 4-H Thimbles Club of Barnstable County. One of their projects was making fleece blankets for the MSPCA in Centerville which were donated to cats that had surgery.
